Introduction

In a digital age where convenience is key, the state of Tennessee has taken a significant step forward in modernizing the process of obtaining server permits for those in the alcohol service industry. With the MY TN Wallet app, individuals seeking server permits can now navigate the application process seamlessly. In this blog, we will explore the MY TN Wallet app and how it simplifies the acquisition of server permits, making it easier for servers and bartenders to meet the state’s requirements for responsible alcohol service.

The MY TN Wallet App: An Introduction

The MY TN Wallet app is an innovative and user-friendly platform designed by the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) to streamline various state services, including the issuance of server permits. This digital solution simplifies the application and renewal process for individuals in the alcohol service industry, allowing them to obtain the necessary permits quickly and efficiently.

Key Features of the MY TN Wallet App:

Digital Wallet: The app serves as a digital wallet for individuals in possession of server permits. Users can store and access their permits digitally, eliminating the need for physical copies.

Application and Renewal: Server permit applications and renewals can be completed entirely within the app. Users can submit all required documentation, including identification and training certificates, electronically.

Notifications: The app sends reminders and notifications about upcoming permit renewals, ensuring that users stay compliant with state regulations.

User-Friendly Interface: The app features an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, making it accessible to users of all technical backgrounds.

Using MY TN Wallet App for Server Permits

Obtaining a server permit through the MY TN Wallet app is a straightforward process:

Download the App: Start by downloading the MY TN Wallet app from your smartphone’s app store. It is available for both Android and iOS devices. Aim To Serve also has an app that can be downloaded to attend the server permit class.

Create an Account: Users will need to create an account using their email address and a secure password.

Complete the Application: Follow the prompts to complete the server permit application. You will be required to provide personal information, upload identification documents, and proof of completion of a responsible alcohol service training program by Aim To Serve. If you do not have proof of finishing a server permit training, Aim To Serve will provide that proof to the TABC after you complete their course. In most cases this is how the server receives proof they have attended a Responsible Service Training program.

Pay the Fee: Pay the application fee securely through the app’s payment gateway. The app accepts various payment methods of payments, ensuring flexibility for users.

Wait for Approval: Once the application is submitted, wait for approval from the TABC. You will receive notifications about the status of your application through the app.

Digital Server Permit: Once approved, and Aim To Serve reports your completion of the course to the TABC your server permit will be digitally issued and stored in your MY TN Wallet app. You can access it at any time.

Renewal: The app will send reminders when your server permit is due for renewal. Simply follow the prompts to renew your permit, and it will be updated in your digital wallet.

Conclusion:

The MY TN Wallet app is a game-changer for individuals in the alcohol service industry in Tennessee. It simplifies the process of obtaining and managing server permits, offering a convenient and efficient solution in the palm of your hand. By digitizing this process, the state has not only embraced modern technology but has also made it easier for servers and bartenders to stay compliant with the law and contribute to responsible alcohol service.

As Tennessee continues to prioritize responsible alcohol practices, the MY TN Wallet app stands as a testament to the state’s commitment to enhancing convenience and efficiency for its residents and businesses.
